Trening / mec Practice vs. Match play

PRACTICE VS. MATCH PLAY

They miss much more than usual and can’t understand why .
In higher than 90 % of the time the errors are due to timing .
The player tends to rush , early prepare and overdo things .
Many players are very nervous in a match .
Nervousness is usually the result of thinking of too many things before and during a match .
They lose attention and feel as well .
Player decisions are usually too early or wrong during a rally .
While they observe the ball , they see it ” faster ” than it is .
Practice never give to the player stress like match .
That’s why a player has to do , apart from tennis and fitness training , mental training .
