Kretanje u tenisu Footwork in tennis

1) kretanje
2) udarac

FOOTWORK IN TENNIS

Thinking about feet position can destroy your game.
Example : If we think to put right foot in front when we play forehand or left foot in front when we play backhand or to stop before we hit the ball….
Player has to move naturally without thinking about feet position before he hits the ball.
He has to do 3 main actions naturally :
1) The move
2) The hit
3) Recovery towards the center

We can hit the ball from the spot, walking, running, sprinting, jumping.
Imagine if we have to think about feet in these situations.
Common question : is it better to have open or close stance in forehand?
Answer : Both are right and player will do naturally depending on situation on the court.

Conventional teaching system insist on sideways stance since we start learning tennis.
It force beginner to think about feet position while he has to hit the ball.
